Property owners – why not offer your home for both purchase and rent at the same time? Under normal circumstances a home cannot be offered for sale during a minimum six-month rental tenancy until month four – unless there is a prior agreement built into the tenancy terms, a deliberate intention by both parties.

Property buyers – why not rent the property you are buying until the purchase process is completed? It can and does work, the special circumstances applied under legal contract condition agreed by both parties will allow for a short-term tenancy occupancy that includes the specific right for purchase completion when the tenancy expires – offering the flexibilities required to maximise fluidity.

Property renters – if you would consider a flexible tenancy agreement that includes your landlord’s wish to sell the property during your occupancy, perhaps in return for rent amount flexibility, then consider the benefits this could bring you if you yourself require flexibility. Or the right for you to buy the property you are renting when your situation dictates.
